邵雍,字尧夫,谥号“康节”,自号“安乐先生”(公元1011-1077)是我国历史上著名的数理学家,哲学家,是中华理学的奠基者和创始人之一,是北宋“五夫子”之一,其学术思想在中国乃至世界均有深远影响。
邵雍一生清贫,自称其居为“安乐窝”,身居都市,陋室粗食,终生不仕,安贫乐道,自甘淡泊,怡然自乐。他德高望重,极受时人尊崇。有士大夫过洛,不至公府必至其家拜访先生。待人接物不分贵贱,一视同仁,均以诚相待,故恶人感其德,好人服其化,忠厚之风闻于天下。
邵雍终生不仕,一心钻研学术,有名著《皇极经世》、《伊川击壤集》、《渔樵问对》等十万余言流传于世。其内容包罗世间各个领域,从社会治乱、历史演进、日月盈亏、山川变化、阴阳刚柔、万物盛衰到人物变迁无不描述精湛,是历史不可多得的哲学名著。
另外,关于康节先生的很多神奇的故事传说,至今还在民间广泛流传。邵雍在当时社会是一介平民,布衣耕作,陋室粗食,深深扎根于广大劳苦大众之中,他同情民间疾苦、高风亮节、宽厚待人和乐意助人的高尚品格,久而久之在民间对邵雍事迹渐渐形成一种传说,且独具魅力,历经千年。
Shao Yong, courtesy name Yaofu, also known as Kangjie and Mr. Anle(1011-1077), is a famous mathematician, philosopher and founder of Chinese Neo-Confucianism. He was honored as one of the"Five Masters" in the Northern Song Dynasty(960-1127). His thoughts had far-reaching influence in China and even the world. Shao Yong devoted himself to academic research all his life instead of serving as an official. Numerous works were composed and circulated in the world, covering various fields including social management, historical evolution, waning and waxing of the sun and moon, changes in mountains and rivers, yin and yang, ups and downs of the universe, leaving the world a treasure of philosophical masterpieces.
