二鬼摔跤传源于汉,盛于宋,代代流传,至今在全国许多地方的民间都有所见。二鬼摔跤由单人进行表演,演员穿上特制的服装,将道具牢牢绑在背上,道具为木头刻绘成的两个造型夸张的鬼头。二鬼摔跤的衣服包括两顶帽子、两件外套、两件大褂,衣服下隐藏的是木头做成的肩和腿,用几根绳子,将这个木制的道具绑在表演者的腰部,两手再穿上和“二鬼”打扮相称的鞋子和两脚一样着地,“四脚”并用,扑滚翻腾,造成背上“二鬼”相互厮打的阵势,幽默风趣,逗人发笑。
二鬼摔跤具有独特的民间杂技艺术特色,距今已有三百年的历史相传,其独特的服装道具和表演形式,是我国民间艺术所特有的魅力,深受广大人民群众的喜爱。每逢春节、元宵节等喜庆的重大节日,常常出现在庙会、公园内为群众演出,对于丰富人民群众文化生活,弘扬民族文化,有着重要的社会价值。
The Wrestling Between Two Ghosts originated in the Han Dynasty(202BC-8AD), flourished in the Song Dynasty(960-1279), then spread from generation to generation, and can been seen in folks in many parts of the country. The Wrestling Between Two Ghosts is a solo acrobatic performance. The actor puts on special costumes and firmly ties the props to his back. The props are two exaggerated ghost heads carved from wood. The clothes of this show include two hats, two coats, and two gowns. Under the clothes are hidden shoulders and legs made of wood. Using a few ropes, this wooden prop is tied to the waist of the performer. Then the performer' s two hands put on the shoes that matched with the appearance of the two ghosts" and land on the ground as the two feet. Then the performer used the"four feet"together to roll and tumble, forming the scene of "two ghosts" wrestling on the back, which is very humorous and funny. The Wrestling Between Two Ghosts has a unique folk acrobatic art feature, which has been passed down for three hundred years. As its unique costume props and performance forms show unique charms of folk art in China, it has been deeply loved by the masses. During every Spring Festival, Lantern Festival and other major festivals, the actors often perform in temple fairs or parks for the masses, which has important social value for enriching people' s cultural life and expanding national culture.
