豫西狮舞（太平狮舞）

豫西狮舞（太平狮舞）属于武狮，流传于苏秦故里洛龙区太平村。太平狮舞能够传承至今得益于“太平双相”（战国六国封印的苏秦，唐朝宰相萧瑀），太平村人自古好舞乐，相传苏秦六国封相，还乡时，乡亲们设乐舞备酒席前往迎接，唐德八年宰相萧瑀回老家太平狮舞鼓乐相迎，狮舞逐渐兴盛。在当地，清乾隆皇帝游龙门到关林大东火神庙朝拜进香由太平狮舞迎驾伴送的故事传流至今。

太平狮舞依“火神”神社创办，当地村民世代保持着年节、祭祖等特殊日子舞“狮子”的传统。太平庄守村护寨义士刀客众多，依狮舞教授活动习武强身，老艺人在传承中把武术与狮舞表演巧妙结合，开创河洛武狮之先河。明清以后，太平狮舞以其超群技艺，折服诸多武狮社成为众多狮舞社的“社头”。建国以来太平武狮多次参加各级民间艺术活动并获得殊荣。1955年在东方红广场欢迎志愿军凯旋，2006年第24届牡丹花会民间艺术表演奖金奖，2007年应邀参加洛阳市第一届春节文化庙会等。

The Taiping Lion Dance belongs to Wushi, which is popular in Taiping village, Luolong District. And there's also the hometown of Suqin. Thanks to these two prime minister in feudal China(Su Qin, conferd titles of nobility by the six kingdoms of the Warring States period, and Xiao Yu,the prime minister of the Tang Dynasty), the Taiping Lion Dance can be inherited. The people living in the Taiping village were good at dancing since ancient times. It is said that when Su Qin confer titles of nobility by the six kingdoms and returned home, the villagers prepared music and dance banquet to welcome him. In the eight years of Tang De, when Xiao Yu, the Prime Minister of Tang Dynasty, went back to his hometown, the villagers welcomed him with the Taiping Lion Dance and drum beating. At that time, the lion dance gradually flourished. In the local area, the story of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty visiting Longmen and worshiped at Dadong God of Fire Temple in Guanlin has been passed down to the present day. The Taiping The Lion Dance was founded to serve Huoshenshe(the organization that worships the god of fire). Local villagers have kept the tradition of lion dance on special days such as the annual festival or ancestor worship for generations, etc. There were many swordsmen guarding the village. They practiced and taught martial arts to keep healthy according to the activities of lion dance. When inheriting it, the old artists skillfully combined martial arts and lion dance performance, and created the precedent of Heluo Wushi. After the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the club of Taiping Lion Dance became the leader of many lion dance clubs because of its superior skills. Since the founding of the People' s Republic of China, the Taiping Lion Dance has performed in many folk artistic activities and won many awards.
