蹩官断案是嵩县车村镇孙店村火神社火中一种别具地方特色的传统舞蹈。蹩官断案作为孙店村社火的一项重要内容，大约起源于清乾隆十年（1745年）左右，该项目与当地独特的地域环境，火神社火，社会治理以及推崇廉吏的朴素情怀都有密切关系。

孙店村因地处偏远的伏牛山腹地，清乾隆五年（1740年）起，就设通判、守备和外围三署，因守备官居四品，当地民间俗称守备署为“四品守备衙门”，其主要职责是维护地方治安秩序，解决民事纠纷。每年元宵节这天，守备署不仅要维护治安秩序，还要参与组织，所以当任守备从平民中选一明理正直和能言善辩之人，化妆成当代廉吏施世纶，参加社火演出，可代他办案，且具有法律效力。又因表演有瘸腿的走路姿态，故名“蹩官”。

蹩官断案表演按照断案进行现场布置、场景重现，风格恢谐风趣，幽默滑稽，具有较强的戏剧性和教育性。蹩官断案已有270多年的历史，历经10余代传承，对研究古代法律普及具有较高的历史价值；蹩官断案将文艺和法律融为一体，既将执法艺术化，又体现了官民移位的民主意识，对研究中国法律文化具有较高的文化价值。

Bieguan Judging A Case is a traditional dance with special local characteristics of Huoshenshe the organization that worships the god of fire)in the Sundian Village, Checun Town, Song County. As an important part of the traditional festivities in the Sundian Village, Bieguan Judging A Case originated in 1745 AD, which was closely related to the local unique regional environment, traditional festivities, social governance and the simple feelings of advocating honest officials. Sundian Village is located in the hinterland of Funiu Mountain. Since the fifth year of Qianlong’s reign of the Qing Dynasty (1740 AD), there had been three departments, namely, general judgment department, garrison department and peripheral department. The main responsibility of the garrison department is to maintain the local public order and solve civil disputes. Every year, on the Lantern Festival, the garrison department should not only maintain public order, but also participate in the organization. Therefore, the garrison department should select a reasonable, honest and eloquent person from the common people, making up as the contemporary incorruptible official Shi Shilun, participating in the traditional festivities, handling cases on behalf of Shi Shilun with legal effect. Because of the lame walking posture of the performance, the person was called"Bieguan". According to the scene arrangement and scene reappearance of the case, performance of the judge of Bieguan is humorous and funny, which is dramatic and educational. It has a history of more than 270 years and more than 10 generations of inheritance, which has high historical value for the study of the popularization of ancient law. It integrates literature and art with law, not only artistically enforces law enforcement, but also embodies the democratic consciousness of shifting officials and people, which has high cultural value for the study of Chinese legal culture.
