牛心山信俗

  牛心山古称文印山，因其山巅有状若牛心之红石，故又名牛心山。当地人俗称南台山。属伏牛山之万安山系。

  牛心山在河南省偃师市大口乡南部，海拔791米，东45华里为登封嵩山少林寺，西45华里为洛阳香山龙门石窟。牛心山恰居其正中。

  农历二月十四日庙会，各乡镇的村民信仰者和周边县市的信仰者，还有一些游客，约几万人，步行的、坐车的，从四面八方，一齐拥向牛心山，至山顶烧香拜佛、抚摸牛心石，不能生育者，还烧香祈求菩萨送子，热闹非凡。

Niuxin Mountain was called Wenyin Mountain in ancient times. It is also called Niuxin Mountain because there are ox-heart shape red stones on the top of the mountain.  Local people usually call it Nantai Mountain,  which belongs to the Wanan Mountain system of  Funiu Mountain. Niuxin Mountain is located in the south of Dakou Township, Yanshi City, Henan Province, with an altitude of  791 meters. Dengfeng Shaolin Temple is in its East 45 li and Luoyang Xiangshan Longmen Grottoes is in its West 45 li. Niuxin Mountain is right in the middle. At the temple fair on February 14th of the lunar calendar, the believers of the villagers in the towns and the surrounding counties and cities, as well as some tourists to embrace Niuxin Mountain together and reach the top of the mountain and burn incense to worship Buddha.
