风筝制作技艺

风筝起源我国春秋战国时期。古籍中多有记载，如《韩非子·外储说左》：“墨子为木鸢，三年而成，……”。

王氏制作风筝从明洪武三年至今，传承二十六代（王氏是由山西洪洞县移民河南）。黄河王氏风筝的特点：传统风筝形式古朴，骨架简捷，用料经济；飞翔性能好，适合大众制作放飞；在此基础上又努力创新和开发，制作出有中国特色的软体、立体、复线风筝并获得各级竞赛中的百余种奖项（其中第一名、金奖占一半以上）。为了中华风筝文化的传承，又研制恢复了在当代已经绝迹的“纸片风筝”和“树叶风筝”并大力推广，这两种风筝一个是软体风筝的前辈，一个是风筝的先祖（见风筝的起源：“树叶说”）。

风筝制作和放飞在中国历史悠久，流传广泛，风格鲜明，拥有深厚的群众基础和隽永的艺术魅力，它不但在我国的民俗活动中占有不可缺失的一席之地，而且也是近几年来促成高空风能发电的急先峰。黄河王氏风筝对于风筝的研究不但拥有历史和艺术价值而且也具备科学和实用价值。

Kite originated in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, which is recorded in many historical documents and books. Wang s Kite has been inheriting the kite making skills for 26 generations from the 3rd year during the reign of Emperor Hongwu of the Ming Dynasty (AD 1368-1644)to now. Wang's Kite, innovated on the basis of traditional kite making, is simple in form and frame, suitable for mass production and flying. In order to inherit the traditional Chinese kite culture which occupies an indispensable place in China's folks' heart, Wang' s descendants have developed and restored the"paper kite"and"leaf kite"which have died out for a long period of time. The study of Wang s kite has not only historical and artistic value, but also scientific and practical value that has inspired us to generate wind power from high-altitude in recent years by fully understanding how kites work.
