古陶器制作技艺

洛阳是中华文明的发祥地。其辉煌灿烂的古陶器艺术史是中原古代灿烂文化的重要组成部分。距今约8000年时，中原一带的先民已用黏土制作陶器。洛阳二里头和东马沟出土的陶斝、白陶盉是夏代制陶技术代表。

两汉时期洛阳处于政治和经济繁荣的中心地带，制陶业具有得天独厚的优势，出土的彩绘陶器、低温釉陶堪称佳作，在我国陶瓷史上起着承上启下的作用。洛阳汉墓中出土有许多反映当时乐舞杂技迷人风采的百戏俑。魏晋时期，古陶器陶塑也独具特色。洛阳晋墓出土的陶塑多灰陶，造型虽写实但多显古拙之气。

古陶器制作技艺在洛阳久负盛名，仿制古陶器的作坊主要集中于洛城东郊一带，比较出名的有洛阳董家，据不完整的董氏传谱记载，董家制陶技艺至少追溯到明朝，其最鼎盛时期是在清朝，成为洛阳周边古陶器制作的典型代表。

As the birthplace of Chinese civilization, Luoyang also has produced the splendid ancient pottery art about 8000 years ago, an important part of the Chinese culture, with pottery cup and utensil unearthed from Erlitou and Dongmagou in Luoyang as representatives. In the political and economic prosperity during the Han Dynasty, Luoyang was endowed with favourable natural conditions for producing painted pottery and low-melting glaze pottery which have exhibited the charming style of music and dance acrobatics. In the Wei and Jin Dynasties, the pottery was mostly characterized by the realism in representation and grey in color. According to the incomplete records of Dongs biography, the Dong family pottery craftsmanship dated back at least to the Ming Dynasty while prospered in the Qing Dynasty.
