孟津县南揽古都洛阳，北临九曲黄河，东接邙山首阳，西依崤函险夷。由于是历史悠久、朝代更迭的重要都城，孟津也就成了烧制建筑城墙、屋宇、及其陵基所用砖瓦的重镇。其传承最为有序的当属白鹤一带。在白鹤镇悠久的烧制砖瓦历史中，以谢氏烧制技艺最为精良，从第一代谢绍曾已传至第七代传人谢博宣，至今已160多年历史。
