“二十四节气”是以黄河流域中下游地区的气候、物候为依据建立起来的古代历法，其核心区是以今洛阳市为中心的河洛地区，是古代河洛地区人民长期经验的积累和智慧的结晶，也是河洛地区广为流传的用来指导农村生活、农业生产的重要节令，被誉为“中国的第五大发明”。“二十四节气”反映出中国古代民间对气候的朴素认知，农耕时代中国农民一直依靠“二十四节气”来安排生活和生产，它反映了季节、气候现象、气候变化等规律。

“二十四节气”指导着传统农业生产和日常生活，是认知气象的“活化石”，对农业耕作具有重要的指导意义和深远的影响。“二十四节气”具有科学价值、文化价值、生态价值和民俗价值。

The" 24 solar terms of the lunar calendar" is an ancient calendar based on the climate and phenology in the middle and lower reaches of the yellow river basin. Its core area is Heluo district, which is centered on Luoyang city today. It is the accumulation of long-term experience and the crystallization of wisdom of the people in ancient Heluo region.
