玄奘传说

       1300多年前，年轻的玄奘背负行囊，告别故土，踏上了西行取经17年的遥远征途。他历经千难万险求取真经、回归故国潜心译经的真实经历，让千千万万的后人钦佩与惊叹。他在充满艰险的西行之旅中，所彰显出的顽强意志、坚定信念、求知欲望、团队意识和高度的爱国主义精神，正是他取得圆满人生的关键。

    时空划过1300多年，玄奘的辉煌业绩和不朽人生，留给人间无尽的思考和启迪，他留下的丰富文化遗产，成为人类取之不竭的精神源泉。这是一个奇迹，这是一种动力，这是一种精神。这种精神就是玄奘精神，是中华民族的精神。它在改造着社会，昭示着真理，推动着历史前进。

    中国社科院东方文化研究中心主任、亚太所教授、中国玄奘研究中心主任黄心川先生把玄奘精神概括为：“真诚向外国学习，勇于开拓的精神；历尽千难万险百折不挠的顽强奋斗精神；虔虔不懈，寻求真理攀登学术高峰的精神；不慕荣利，返回祖国，造福人民的爱国主义和国际主义精神；工作作风踏实，计时分业的严谨精神”。

    佛学大师赵朴初先生1964年在纪念玄奘圆寂1300周年的大会上，对玄奘精神做了极为全面和精辟的论述。他说“玄奘那种一往直前、决不后退的顽强意志，刻苦钻研、求深求透的治学精神，认真研究、不弃寸阴的工作态度，对于祖国学术的无限责任感，对于各国友好的真挚热情，都是永远值得我们钦佩和学习的”。

    玄奘是中华民族及世界历史上极其光辉灿烂的伟大人物，他的人格是崇高而伟大的，他的业绩是卓越而辉煌的，他的贡献是广泛而杰出的，他的精神永远昭示后人，万古流芳。玄奘精神不仅属于中国，而且属于世界。其历史意义，早已超越了时间、空间和宗教的限制，成为整个中华民族乃至全人类共有的精神财富。

Xuangang Belief is a folk belief wide-spread in Yanshi (county-level city of Luoyang) More than 1300 years ago, Xuanzang was born in Chenhe Village, Gou Shi County (today' s Yanshi City). In his youth, Xuanzang has spent 17 years traveling to the west to seek the true scriptures. During his journey, his tenacious will, firm belief, strong desire for knowledge, team consciousness, and the high degree of patriotism have made him the role model for later generations, And his spirits gradually formed a folk belief in Yanshi, the Xuanzang belief, Mr Huang Xinchuan summarized Xuanzang belief as: the courage to learn from foreign countries and to blaze up new trails; the indomitable spirit to go through all kinds of difficulties and risks: the perseverance to seek truth and climb the academic peak; the patriotism and internationalism to return to the motherland and benefit the people; and the dependable attitude to work hard and rigorously.
