五更太平丸制备工艺，是保证五更太平丸药品质量的技术核心，五更太平丸是治疗肺痨及咳喘疾病的传统药物。五更太平丸制备工艺起源于清末民初（1911年），形成于杨振清在山西运城创立的“四知堂药店”，至今有百年历史。该工艺以师徒相传的形式代代相传。1928年四知堂药店迁入中原重镇洛阳北大街。1930年，五更太平丸制备工艺传承人杨振清将秘方及制备工艺加入洛阳药业公会制药研究所（民生药业集团前身），企业随几经变迁，五更太平丸制备工艺乃经久不衰。

五更太平丸制备工艺，经历洛阳民生药业几代人的传承，使这一古老的工艺技术得到发展，五更太平丸制备工艺绰药母子技法，在中医药文化发展史上留下了一笔宝贵遗产。

In 1911, the Physician Yang Zhenqing founded Si Zhi Tang(Four Knows)Pharmacy in Shanxi province, and meanwhile the preparation process of Wugeng Taiping Pill (pill for nourishing Yin and clearing away Lung-heat) was formed. In 1928 the Pharmacy moved to the North Street of Luoyang. The preparation process of the pill started to be passed down from generation to generation. In1931, Yang gave the technique to Luoyang Institute of Pharmaceutical Trade Union. In 1954, it was restructured into Luoyang Minsheng Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. And in 2010 it was reorganized into Minsheng Pharmaceutical Group. With a history of more than 100 years, this preparation technique was well preserved and developed, leaving a precious legacy in the history of traditional Chinese medicine.
